Catawba Nuclear Station Dockets 50-413 and 50-414 Inspection Report 50-413, 414/96-04 Revised Commitment Completion Date By letter dated April 26,
- 1996, the NRC issued an Inspector Follow-Up Item (IFI) as described in Inspection Report 50-413, 414/96-04.
By letter dated May 29, 1996, Duke ~ responded to this IFI, indicating certain corrective actions would be taken.
These corrective actions constituted commitments to the NRC.

the corrective actions in Section 4 of the response was that the

revised News Group Emergency Plan would continue to be tested and refined during the remaining 1996 Catawba Nuclear Site Emergency Response Organization Quarterly Drills.
The quarterly dates listed -in the response were 09/01/96, 11/13/96, 'and 12/04/96.
Due to the steam generator replacement outage schedule, the 09/01/96 drill has been rescheduled to occur on 10/02/96; the other-dates remain the same.
As originally stated in the j
response, the final implementation of all the corrective actions will be achieved by 03/01/97.
