REPORTS ON MONITORING LNG AND LPG SHIPPING AND CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ON THE DELAWARE RIVER HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Pursuant to the requirements of Amendment 5 to the Construction Permit for the Hope Creek Generating Station, we hereby transmit to you the attached reports on monitoring activities related to the shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on the Delaware River.

The attachment consists of a summary and introduction section, followed by an annual report which summarizes the results of the monitoring activities on the Delaware River, and by a bi-yearly report, which contains the estimates of the conditional probabilities of a flammable vapor cloud reaching the Hope Creek Generating Station.

The results of this study show that the total conditional probability of a flammable vapor cloud reaching the nuclear plant is less than the value established by the NRC as an upper limit, based on the conservative assumptions.
