SUBJECT:
TEMPORARY REASSIGNMENT Effective Monday, April 23, 1984, I am reassigning Richard L*. Bangart, Director, Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards, to the NRC Task Force on Comanche Peak as the Region IV coordinator for this project.
The duration of this assignment will depend on how long it will take to resolve all the licensing and inspection issues that n,eed to be addressed before a decision can be made on the issuance of an operator license for Comanche Peak.
Since this is a full time effort, I have appointed Paul Check as the Acting Director, Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards, in addition to his duties as Deputy Regional Administrator.
