Resumption of operation after refueling will require changes 'to Technical Specifications. The changes will be such as to allow operation of the plant with a fresh reload batch and reshuffled core.

SUMMARY

OF UNIT 1 OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR 1

DECEMBER 1984 12/1 At the beginning of this reporting period, Unit I was at 429 MWe with the reactor at 59% power in the process of shutting down to repair reactor coolant leaks on 11B Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) shaf t seal cartridge upper sensing line and packing leaks on a pressurizer instrument and a pressurizer sample valve. At 0103 the unit was removed from the grid.

12/2 Commenced start-up at 0157. The reactor was taken critical at 1325 and the unit paralleled to the grid at 1823.

12/3 Resumed full load operation (869 MWe) at 0431.

12/4 Reduced load to 833 MWe at 0840 to clean main condenser water boxes.

Resumed full load operation (879 MWe) at 1240.

12/12 At 1505 shutdown was commenced when 11 Main Steam Isolation Valve (MSIV) was declared inoperable.

12/25 Commenced start-up at 1158. At 2142 the reactor was taken critical.

12/26 At 0052 the unit was paralleled to the grid and reached full power (868 MWe) at 1145.

12/31 At the end of this reporting period, Unit I was at 880 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.

SUMMARY

OF UNIT 2 OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR DECEMBER 1984 12/1 At the beginning of this reporting period, Unit 2 was operating at 868 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.

12/8 At 2240 reduced power to 730 MWe to tast main turbine control valves.

12/9 Resumed fullload operation (868 MWe) at 0600.

12/14 Decreased load to 845 MWe at 2155 for Moderator Temperature Coefficient measurement. -

12/16 Resumed full load operation (870 MWe) at 2300.

12/31 At the end of this reporting period, Unit 2 was at 872 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
