Dear Mr. Vassallo:

In a telephone conversation held with members of your staff, Carolina Power & Light Company was requested to provide additional information concerning our license amendment request dated February 13,1985 for a one-time extension of the surveillance interval for full-flow testing of the core spray pumps. Specifically, the date and duration of fuel off-load were requested. The Company plans to begin a full fuel off-load on or about May 30,1985, with 10 days to complete the operation. Refueling will commence on approximately August 6,1985, with reload complete in 1i days.
