Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 Inservice Inspection Program

Dear Mr. Denton:

In a letter dated May 1, 1984, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) submitted changes to the Inservice Inspection (ISI) Program which requested relief for valves XVG-3103A,B-SW, XVG-3106A,B-SW, and XVG-3110A,B-SW from the ISI Program. -SCE&G has re-evaluated the need for relief of ISI testing of these valves and hereby retracts the relief request for items 2 and 3 in the letter submitted May 1,1984.

These valves are being tested in accordance with the current ISI Program and continue to meet the acceptance criteria.
