BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 CONDUIT. SUPPORT STIFFENER PLATES NOT INSTALLED PER DRAWING
.BLRD-50-438/84-34 NCRs 3069 AND 3457-10 CFR 50.55(e)-
SECOND INTERIM REPORT Description of Deficiency During a quality control audit, it was identified Lthat two stiffener plates.
for support FF-768-6, Mark No. 31, were installed approximately 2 inches from the proper location as shown on TVA design drawing 4RA0560-X2-32 R3 The support is a seismic category I support for electrical _ conduit carrying safety-related cables. It'is located inside the unit 1 Reactor Building.
TVA has subsequently identified another unit 1 Reactor Building conduit support (768-36/31/5, also shown on drawing series 4RA0560-X2-31-Rh) which is missing the required stiffener plates. This additional deficiency has been documented on NCR 3457.
Interim Progress TVA's Office of Engineering (OE) has evaluated the configuration of support FF-768-6, Mark No. 31, and has determined that the support'is acceptable for use-as-is. Support 768-36/31/5 will also be referred to OE for evaluation and disposition. TVA is still investigating the assignable cause and extent of the subject deficiencies.
