APPLICATION FOR AMENDNENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear
. Regulatory Comunission, the New York Power Authority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for-an Amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
The proposed changes to the James A. FitzPatrick Technical Specifications alter the organization of the Safety Review Committee and, not including editorial changes, are limited to Section 6.5.2.1., " Function" and Section 6.5.2.2, " Membership." The proposed changes reflect the Authority's commitment to involve senice management in, and focus their attention on, the safe operation of the FitzPatrick facility.
The proposed changes to the Technical Specifications are Attachment I to this application. The Safety Evaluation for this change is included as Attachment II.
