Please note that there were two noncompliances with a maximum effluent limitation during this reporting period. Copies of Noncompliance Report Nos, 000/5550/85/01, 02 and 03 are enclosed.

1. The Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station operated all days during the month of January.

2.. Circulating water pumps 1-1,1-2,1-3, and 1-4 were operated all days during the month except as noted in item 3.

3. As permited by condition 9b(1)b of the permit, the discharge-intake temperature difference exceeded the 230F limit as a result of maintenance activities due to severe icing at the intake structure requiring the following circulating water pumps to be rcmoved from service.
