This submittal for 4

certification renewal addresses both operating units at Braidwood Station with Braidwood Unit 1 serving as the reference plant. In the section titled " Reg. Guide 1.149 Requirements" of our certification report, the requirement for dual plant simulation facilities are evaluated and the results demonstrate that the Braidwood Simulator's performance compares favorably with each unit. In addition, steady state testing per ANSI /ANS-3.5,1985 Appendix B was performed. These tests compare the Braidwood simulator performance to Braidwood Unit 1 performance with favorable results.

The attachment to this letter contains two NRC Form 474's, i.e. One for each docket number and two copies of the Renewal Certification Report. These documents certify the Braidwood Simulations Facility meets the Nuclear Regulatory Comnission's regulations.
