The purpose of this letter is to confirm recent telephont discur.sions with members of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff concerning Carolina Power & Light Company's revised schedule for
' submitting a power uprate license amendment applici. tion for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant,
. Units 1 and 2._ By letter dated February 6,1992 (Se rial: NLS-92-011), CP&L informed the NRC of s
its intent to submit a power uprate license amendment application in November 1992. Carolina
-Power & Light Company urrently intends to submit the puwer uprate license amendment application to the NRC in May 1993. Based on this schedule, the Company intends to request NRC approval of the Brunswick power uprate license amendment application by June 1,-1990 ThrcCgh our NRR Project Manager, we will continue to keep the Staff informed of our progress.
