DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 NUREG-0737, ZTEM II.F.1, ACCIDENT MONITORS POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 In a letter dated March 5, 1984, Wisconsin Electric submitted information regarding auxiliary safety instrumentation panel and instrument bus upgrade equipment and installation delays which impacted schedular commitments contained in the NRC's modified Confirmatory Order dated July 12, 1983. The delays affected the completion dates for accident monitors addressed by NUREG-0737, Items II.F.1.3 through II.F.1.6, and the permanent power supplies for Items II.F.1.1 and II.F.1.2. Our March 5 letter requested an extension for installation of those monitors until December 31, 1984. Our letters of June 26 and June 29, 1984 provided additional information concerning the extension request.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that as of December 28, 1984 the accident monitors addressed by NUREG-0737, Items II.F.1.3 through II.F.1.6, are installed on panels in the control room, powered by interim safety-grade power supplies, and accepted for use by plant Operations. _
