McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Technical Specifications Regarding Administrative Controls, Shift Work and Overtime

Dear Mr. Denton:

Attached are proposed license amendments to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-9 and NPF-17 for McGuire Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2, respectively.

The proposed changes of the Technical Specifications concern the administrative controls for shift work at McGuire Nuclear Stations. The current policies regarding shift work and overtime have enhanced the safety as well as the efficiency of plant operations. The proposed changes are purely administrative in nature and have no adverse safety implications.

Attachment I contains the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications.

Attachment II provides a Justification and Safet.y Analysis in support of the proposed changen. Attachment III provides a determination that the proposed changes would nct involve any significant hazards consideration as defined by 10CFR50.92.

t This reqvr.st involves one application for amendment to McGuire Nuclear Station's Technical Specifications. Accordingly, pursuant to 10CFR170.21 a check , e $150.00 is enclosed.
