Dear Mr. Secretary:
supplier of material to the ServicAir Company was a Commanche Peak Nuclear Plant in Texas.
Specifically, ServicAir supplied flexible metal conduit and associated fittings.
ServicAir's material had been qualified to IEEE 323 (1974) prior to contract acceptance.
Qualification to IEEE was a firm requirement on the RFQ's at that time.
We understand that in 1983, Mr. Don Driskill, of the Arlington, Texas NRC office, conducted an investigation into the reported problem at Commanche Peak concerning the use of non-qualified conduit and fittings in the con-tainment area as supplied by the Standard Environmental Company of Cherry Hill, New Jersey in conjunction with
~9 American BOA Company of Georgia.
We request a copy of that investigation under the Freedom t
of Information Act of 1974.
Would you please furnish a copy to the undersigned?
Thank you.
Very truly yours, f
ames N.
