. to NO 92-0114 SUbiARY The following report highlights the operating experience of Wolf Creek Generating Station for the month of March, 1992.

This report is being provided pursuant to Technical Specificntion 6.9.1.8.

I.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE After an unplanned reactor trip on February 19, 1992, the unit remained shutdown until March 27, 1992.

While the unit was shutdown, repair of the reactor vessel canopy seal weld and the reactor cavity seal ring was performed.

An investigation of an unexplained noise that occurred on February 28, 1992 identified that the crossover leg saddles were coming in contact with the thrust block shims.

The investigation also identified the need to rework the Loop A and C vertical drop restraints The unit reached full power at 2234 hours0.0259 days <br />0.621 hours <br />0.00369 weeks <br />8.50037e-4 months <br /> on March 28, 1992 and remained at full power for the remainder of the month II.

MAJOR SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES 1.

Repair of the reactor canopy seal weld leakage.

Repair of reactor cavity seal ring.

3.

Adjustments to the Loop A and C vertical drop restraints and the thrust block shims.
