DESCRIPTION OF EVENT:
On Oc tober .18,- 1964, at apFroximately I 1700 CDT, during-performance ofi
'" SEISMIC INSTRUMENTATION FT&C" procedure (HNP-1-3980), personnel found blown ' power supply circuit fuses for Triaxial Time-History ,
LAccelerographs for the Diesel Generator building- 130' elevation'
-( 2 L 51-N021 ) , Reactor Building .87' elevation ~on drywell- pedestal (2L51-NO20), and drywell feedwater inlet to Reactor Pressure' Vessel-(2L51-N004). Further investigation revealed that the power. supply circuit to 2L51-N004 instrument loop was short circuited which,-in turn, ; blew the common circuit power supply fuse for all of'the above listed - accelerographs. The shorted power circuit cable to- the 2L51-N004 instrumentation loop was lifted, and the blown fuse was replaced. 2L51-N020 and 2L51-NO21 were returned to operable status.
During the . next extended drywell entry on. Unit 2, the short circuited power supply cable to the 2L51-N004 instrumentation loop will be investigated to. determine what- repair is necessary . to restore
- 2L51-N004 to ooerable status. The 2L51-N004 instrumentation loop will be repaired and returned to operable status.
