Dear Mr. Starostecki:
On May 16,1984 Niagara Mohawk submitted a 50.55(e) final report for the problem concerning backpressure on valves furnished by Clow Corporation.
In that report we provided a completion date of October 31, 1984 This date was estimated prior to the procurement of replacement valves.
We now have the valve shipment dates of December,1984. and February,1985 Therefore, the corrective actions will not be complete until July 1,1985 In addition, we have made a change in the corrective actions on one valve.
Further analysis by Stone & Webster has detennined that valve Mark No.
2CSL*HCY118 does not require re-orientation ' or special operating instructions.
