VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS N05. 1 & 2 NUREG-0737, ITEM II.D.1 PERFORMANCE TESTING OF RELIEF AND SAFETY VALVES REQUEST FOL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In our letter dated May 1,1984, Serial No.107, we stated that we would forward'the requested information on performance testing of relief and safety valves by September 28, 1984.
In a September 27, 1984, telephone call between Mr. Leon Engle, the NRC North Anna Project Manager, and Vepco's Mr. David Fortin, Mr.' Fortin requested additional time to allow adequate review of the information to asstare its accuracy before forwarding to the NRC. As noted, the information was onlj.recently received from the vendor and consultant architect-engineer and an adequate review has not yet been completed by Vepco.
This is to confirm Vepco's request for an extension to complete its review of the information. As stated in the referenced ohone call, the required information will be submitted on or before October 31, 1984.
