BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - IMPROPER USE OF ALTERNATE ANALYSIS ELBOLETS - BLRD-50-438/82-78, BLRD-50-439/82 FOURTH INTEFIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector P. E. Fredrickson on November 16, 1982 in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR BLN BLP 8231. This was followed by our interim reports dated December 17, 1982 and March 22 and December 14, 1983 Below is our fourth interim report. We expect to submit our next report by December 7,1984.
TVA is still in the process of resolving the subject deficiency. All cases of elbolets being qualified by alternate criteria have been identified and new piping routes deleting the elbolets have been incorporated into revised drawings, but TVA is still determining the actions to prevent recurrence.
