The final report in accordance with 10CFR50.55(e) concerning items supplied by Tube-Line Corporation will be submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Comission by October 1,1984, rather than August 15, 1984. During the

.verif4 cation process, it was determined that the results of the initial investigation of Category I installations were inconclusive; therefore, additional investigations were initiated. This information was communicated to your staff end the extension granted, via a telephone conversation between Mr. G. Griffith (Nine Mile Point Unit #2, Licensing) and Mr. P. Russ of your staff on August 8,1984.
