APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENA Pursuant to Section 2.720 of the Commission's regulations, Intervenor Three Mile Island Alert applies to the Atomic Safety

and Licensing Board for the issuance of a Civil Subpoena, to:

Leland Rogers 1045 Church St.

Landisville, PA 17538 for the purpose of requiring the above-named individual to appear at a deposition to commence in this proceeding on September 20, 1984. A copy of the proposed Subpoena is attached.

Mr. Rogers can testify to matters concerning the "Dieckamp" mailgram and related events.

WHEREFORE Intervenor TMIA respectfully requests that the Chairman of the Licensing Board issue a Civil Subpoena in the form attached hereto directing Mr. Rogers to produce the requested documents, at his September 20, 1984 deposition.
