Dear Mr. Keppler:

On July 1, 1983, Commonwealth Edison Company notified Mr.

References (a) and (b) provided information concerning this matter to fulfill the thirty day reporting requirements and to provide an interim status report.

This deficiency was assigned l

Number 83-08 for your tracking purposes.

The purpose of this letter is to provide an updated status of the corrective actions required to resolve this deficiency.

STATUS OF RESOLUTION Reference (b) stated that the Pullman Sheet Metal Duct Brochure, Revision A, had been given interim approval for site use and was awaiting formal acceptance by Sargent anri Lundy.

Formal acceptance of Revisicn A was received on October 6, 1983.

Reference (b) also projected completion of the Pullman Sheet Metal as-built submittal by May 1, 1984, and that the subsequent reinspections following the Sargent and Lundy as-built review would be completed by Septamber 1, 1984.

The work scope of the' corrective action program has turned out to be much larger in magnitude than we initially anticipated.

We now expect that the-Pullman Sheet Metal as.-built submittals will be completed by mid-January, 1985.

The Sargent and Lundy review of these as-built submittals for conformance with design
