Please note that in last month's Operating Data Report, the " Gross Thennal Energy Generated" was inadvertently given in megawatt days rather than megawatt hours.

' MONTHLY NARRATIVE REPORT

. OF OPERATION AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance 2xperience for the month of July,1984. This narrative report was prepared by the plant staff and is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.10 of the Plant Technical Specifications.

On July 24, 1984, a low power natural circulation test was performed for operator training qualification.

There is no significant major safety-related maintenance to report.

No challenges to the PORV's or safety valves have been made.

On May 25, 1984, minor changes were made to the Environmental Radiological Monitoring Procedure. The changes consist of the assignment of responsibilities for documentation and application of corrective actions and the addition of more sample points to Table 6 " Summary of Cross Checks Program with State of California". The addition of more sample points to the Cross Chrecks Program was in response to an agreement with the State of California.

No changes have been made in the Offsite Dose Calculation Procedure, or any radioactive waste trehtment systems.
