THIRD INTERIM REPORT Describtion of Deficiency Limit switches, control valves,-and solenoid valves for safety-related-systems which are required to be class 1E components, were procured from Crane Company (Chempump Division), Yarway Corporation, Copes-Vulcan Corporation, and Masonellan Valve Corporation without specifying the proper IEEE class. Because of this inadvertent error, documentation necessary to verify the class of these components was not provided.
Interim Progress With the exception of 12 devices, all other devices identified in the two subject nonconformances will be either replaced with qualified components or have been determined by the manufacturer or supplier to be acceptable for the IEEE 1E application. TVA is still in the process of determining,-
the acceptability of the remaining 12 devices.
