POTENTIAL CONSTRUCTION DEFICIENCY SILICON - CONTROLLED RECTIFIERS - EDG HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION On May 3, 1984, a verbal report was made to Region I, Office of Inspection and Enforcement representative, Mr.

C.
McCshe, advising of a potentially significant construction deficicacy regarding Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR's) installed in our emergency diesel generator exciters.
An interim report was sent to your office on June 1, 1984.
The following information is provided in accordance with 10CFR50.55(e).
On June 26, 1984, Basler Electric representatives inspected the installed condition of the SCR's mounted in our diesel generator exciter panels and determined that they had been properly installed.
We therefore withdraw this item as not reportable in accordance with 10CFR50.55 (e).
