-CIO. continued the, evaluation of,the Construction Completion Program (CCP) including Status Assessment (S/A),

the Quality Verification Program (QVP), the Hanger Reinspection Program (HRP) and Phase 2 work relate (' to Turbine Roll during this reporting period.

CCP Phase 1 activity is tabulated in Exhibit 1.

The principal work activity for CIO was the continued updating and completion of checklists and gathering of drawings and material necessary to prepare for the next CPCo milestones involving Module 240A and portions of the Feedwater and Auxiliary Feedwater systems.

A.

Physical walkdown by CIO is presently being done for hangers and software for partial systems 2ALA-2 (Auxiliary Feedwater) and 2AEA-3 (Feedwater).

CIO is also checking "Q" raceway in Module 240A ard the electrical-portions of the two above mentioned systems.

Overview of other areas of. the CCP was continued by CIO consisting of attendance at working meetings, monitoring activities for procedural compliance, reviewing working documents and witnessing work in progress.

An exit meeting was held between CPCo and CIO pertaining to the evaluation of CPCo's Program for adherence to 10CFR50, Appendix B.

There-were recommendations by CIO concerning Criterion VIII (Identification of Materials, Parts and Components), XVII (Quality Assurance Records) and VIII

( Audits), none of which were considered serious.

CIO is in the process of evaluating the Midland site Preventive Maintenance Program.

Preventive maintenance procedures have been received from CPCo, BPCo, Zack and B&W and contacts have been named by the above companies.

D.

Activities related to CIO Items, Hold Points and NIRs are summarized in Attachment A, B and C respectively.

E.

The summary of meetings attended by CIO is in Attachment D.

A.

CIO continued the review of hangers for partial systems 2ALA-2 (auxiliary feedwater) and 2AEA-3 (feedwater) and started gathering drawings and materials necessary to prepare for the review of Module 120J. This module was given a top priority this week.

The CIO overview of other areas of the CCP was continued consisting of attendance at working meetings, monitoring activities for procedural compliance, reviewing working documents, and witnessing work in progress.
