Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 Simulator Training Programs
Dear Mr. Denton:
Please find enclosed ten (10) copies of South Carolina Electric and Gas Company's (SCE&G) simulator training programs designed for candidates in training for operator and senior operator licenses.
This submittal is made in accordance with Generic Letter 84-14, " Replacement and Requalification Training Program."
These training programs use the Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station simulator and are similar in depth and scope to the Westinghouse Zion and SNUPPS simulator training programs previously used to train SCE&G candidates for licenses.
Use of the full scope, plant speci'ic Virgil C.
Summer simulator provides for improved training over previously used simulators which were similar but not plant specific.
