APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the New York Power Authority, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
The proposed Amendment to Appendix A of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59 is required to implement plant modifications to meet the criteria of Item II.K.3.18 " Modification of ADS Logic -
Feasibility for Increased Diversity for Some Event Sequences" of NUREG-0737.
The araendment incorporates surveillance requirements for new equipment (Section 4.5.D.l.c on page 119) and revises Table 3.2-2 (on pages 66-69) to reflect the modification.
