Dear Mr. Starostecki:
.In the-final 50.55(e) report concerning Agastat Relay Bases dated January 16, 1984 the following corrective actions were provided:
1.
A General Electric Field Deviation Disposition Report will be written to perform a 100% inspection of all Agastat Relay Bases which were not replaced in the inspection for cracked bases. This is to assure that the mounting screws are torqued to a minimum of 5 inch-pounds.
2.-
A General Electric Field Deviation Disposition Report has been written to inspect all Agastat Relay Bases for broken studs.
If one or more of the studs in the base are broken, the base will be replaced.
The above corrective actions will be completed by July 13, 1984 rather than. June 1, 1984, as previously commited. This was confirmed in a telephone conversation between T. Loomis (Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Licensing) and Mr. S. Collins, of your staff, on May 29, 1984.
Very truly yours, WW C. V. Mangan Vice President Nuclear Engineering & Licensing TRL/rla cc: Director of Inspection and Enforcement U.S. Nuclear,Regujatory Commission Washington,*DC""20555" " '
