Dear Mr. Wakild:
As required by the NPDES permit for this facility, this is to provide you with notification that the Brunswick Unit No. 1 was operated with less than two fine mesh screens during May. One of the cooling water pump bays was without screens from May 17 at 6:30 a.m. to May 21 at 7:08 p.m. due to removal of the bar trash rack for cleaning.
On May 21, a spare rack was installed and the fine mesh screens were returned to service.
