DPR-23 INSPECTION REPORT IER-83-024 Dear Mr. O'Reilly Carolina Power and Light Company's November 3,1984 response to the subject violation committed to revising procedures to functional test the safeguards test switch by March 31, 1984. The response also stated that, in the interim, work requests for testing these switches will contain a note to contact the I&C Foreman for post maintenance testing if the switch is replaced.
The interim action remains in effecc.
CP&L will schedule appropriate action on this item prior-to startup. At present, a target date for procedure revision is August 3, 1984.
