Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) provided the thirty day 10 CFR 50.55(e)
Report Number 84-01 concerning the subject documentation deficiencies at L. K. Comstock.
In that report we indicated our expectations for reconciliation of the inspectio,n records by May 1, 1984 and subsequent issuance of the final report.
The purpose of this letter is to provide the Region with an update in this matter.
Completion of the L. K. Comstock reconciliation of inspection records is now expected by early June, 1984.
To date, however, no significant deficiencies requiring extonsive rework have been identified.
We expect to provide a report by the end of June 1984 detailing our assessment of this matter including identification of any resultant backlog of required Quality Control inspections for installed items.
