Dear Mr. 0'neilly:
Sign 1ficant Deficiency Report No. 413-414/84-05 concerning defective turbo-chargers on the Unit 1. Diesels stated that a resolution and corrective action were expected to be complete by July 2,1984. The resolution proposed by Transamerica Delaval involves modification of the turbocharger drip line which will. allow the turbocharger to be prelubricated with full flow keep warm lube oil. The modification has begun on the Unit.1 diesels; the Unit 2 -
diesels will be modified in the same manner.- All work will be complete by initial criticality for each unit.
