o NIAGARA M0 HAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50-410 Interim Report for a Problem Concerning Velan Valves - Feedwater System (55(e)-84-22)
Description of the Problem During a review of documentation, it was observed that the certified material test reports (CMTRs) provided by the valve manufacturer did not document the test coupon heat treatment duration and temperature as required by ASME Section III, NB-2211. Further inquiry revealed that the heat treatment of the test coupons was in fact not performed.
The matter is still being investigated and a final report will be submitted by November 26, 1984.
