Thank you for your letter of November 2!, 1971 apprising us of the failure of an AtwooJ and Morrill valve installed as a main steam isolation valve at another utility, ice have checked into those installed at Nine ? tile Point Nuclear Station and find that the main steam isolution valves out-side the drywell are of this sane nanufacture and type. Therefore we have two valves with the type N2K dash pots and operators of the !!ydr o-Line Manufacturing Company Model 612-003-1B.
Our next 3cheduled outage cone:enses April 2,1972 and we.
would inspect then at this time. The results of the inspection will be supplied to you as your letter suggests.
