s By a letter dated July 12, 1982 f rom Mr. R. C. Lewis, Carolina $
Power & Light Company (CP&L) was advised that portions of Revision 8 to the Industrial Security Plan f or the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant were not consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).
Enclosed (Attachment 1) is an amer.dment in the f orm of page changes to Revision 8 to the Industrial Security Plan.
The revision and emendment thereto contain no changes which would decrease the effectiveness of the Industrial Security Plan or the level of security provided.
Portions of the attached amendment have been designated as Safeguards Information and should be protected in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21.
Carolina Power & Light Company requests that those parts of the attachment which are not protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, be withheld f rom public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(d)(1).
