Dear Mr. Denton:
By letter dated January 18, 1984, South Carolina-Electric and
-Gas Conpany (SCE&G) responded to NRC Generic Letter No. 83-37, "NUREG-0737 Technical Specifications."
In reviewing this response SCE&G discovered that a portion of the Combustible
' Gas Control Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement (4.6.5.1) was inadvertently omitted.
Attachment I, V ich was transmitted as part of our original response to Generic Letter 83-37 dated January 18, 1984, has been revised to incorporate the omitted portion of the surveillance requirement.
'SCE&G has determined that a finding of no significant hazards consideration is appropriate in that the proposed change is within the scope of approved Staff guidance as delineated in Generic Letter 83-37.
This revision has been reviewed and approved by our Plant l_
l Safety Review Committee (PSRC) and the Nuclear Safety Review Committee (NSRC).
A check in the amount of Four Thousand l
Dollars ($4000.00) was previously submitted in our letter dated January _ 18,.1984.
