NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

MONTH: July 1995 i t

McGuire Unit i began the month of July in an outage because the diesel generators were declared inoperable due to the turbochargers. The unit was placed on-line 07/05/95 at 1216. During power .

escalation, the unit held at 18% power on 07/05/95 from 1313 to 1726 due to placing demineralizer in service. The unit held at 20% power from 1739 to 1930 due to secondary chemistry sampling. The unit resumed power escalation, and returned to 100% power on 07/06/95 at 1229. The unit operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.
