FIRST INTERIM REPORT t

Description of Deficiency 9

During a review of the applicable _ insulation and modes analysis data for the essential raw cooling water (ERCW) system in the intake pumping station (IPS), it was determined that certain insulation weights were in error. Further invest.tgation revealed that documented

. design calculations for determining the actual insulation weights for some pipe sizes did not exist.

Interim Progress TVA will perform and document insulation weight calculations for the ERCW system in the IPS and issue revised insulation and mode analysis data and piping analysis. This work will be.done under tragineering change notice 2919.
