Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Reactor at approximately 2 % power and stable.

Main eteam isolation test initiated.  ;

Lescription of Occurrence:

g all rain steam isolatior. valve clocur.e times were recorded. Tne closing tioe for A0-2-2-60A vns 31 seconds. Thio exceeds the r:axicum allowable operatir.g tire of 5 seconds provided in the hac Technical Specifications.

Desirr.ntion of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

A. The cause for the slight change in valve closing speed. hse r.ot been- ,

identified to date.

A. 16I7 A0-2-2-30A chall be adjusted, stroke tested and tired prior to reactor stort-up.

B. Proper operation of A0-2-33 will be verified following repair or replaccccnt of the associated solenoid valve.
