O'Reilly, Office of Inspection and Enforcetent, Region 1, United States Nuclear Regulatory Co: mission on February 11, 1975 In accordance with Section 6.7 2.A of the Technical Specifications, Appendix A of DPR-hh for Unit 2 Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, the following report is being submitted to the Directorate of Reactor Licensing as an Abnomal Occurrence.

Unit 2 at 90% power.

Description of Gecurrence:
During mutino instrument surveillance testing, dPIS-2-2-138A was found to trip at 0 9 paid. The Technical Specification limit is 2 paid 11.
h* nation of Aeparent Cause of Occurrence:
Setpoint shift.
Analysis of Occurrence:
This minor setpoint shift has minimal safeyf implications since it is part of a one-of-two-twice logic and is also redundant in the other LPCI systet.
Corrective Action:
'Ihe cem follower was found to be defective. It was replaced, and properly aligned. The switch was recalibrated and check for proper calibration per the applicable surveillance test.
Failure Data:
This is the first failure of this type on switches in this serviCo.
