The drywell floor drain inboard isolation valve, A0-3-20-82, failed to close during surveiilance testing.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Hot standby.

Description of Occurrence:

During the performance of a surveillance test, A0-3-20-82 failed to close when given an isolation signal,

Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

A defective seat of a solenoid valve prevented proper operation of A0-3-20-82.

Analysis of Occurrence:

The safety ' implications of this failure are mininal because the outboard isolation valve did close from the isolation signal.

Corrective Action:

ihe solenoid valve was replaced and A0-3-20-82 was tested satisfactorily.
