By letter dated July 19, 1974, Consumers Power Company l transmitted Abnormal Occurrence Report 74-08. This letter is written to revise the corrective action Paragraph 9a of that report. l Due to problems with the planned installation of the restraint anchor, it was not located such that the expansion anchor bolts were placed in shear. The present location of the restraint anchor places the anchor bolts partially in tension and partially in shear. Allowable stresses in this location exceed the design requirements.
