Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982 (PL 97-425) and Generic Letter 83-07, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company and its co-licensee, the South Carolina Public Service Authority, have contracted with the U.S. Department of Energy for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel and/or high-level radioactive waste.
The contract was executed on June 29, 1983.
