Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a current status report concerning Abnormal Occurrence Report A0 50-265/74-32 On December 26 and 27,1974, Unit Two main steam isolation valves (MSIVs) were leak rate tested. The following results were reported.
Within Leak Rate Limitations: MSIVs 2-203-lC, 2-203-ID and 2-203-20 Exceeded Leak Rate Limitations: MSIVs 2-203-1A, 2-203-IB and 2-203-2C.
Due to water leakage through the inboard MSIVs 2-203-1A and 2-203-1B, an accurate numerical leak rate value could not be determined for the respec-tive outboard MSIVs 2-203-2A and 2-203-28.
MSIVs 2-203-lA, 2-203-1B and 2-203-2C were subsequently cleaned and tapped.
On March 10, 1975, the following leak rate test results were determined.

- 3. 2-203-IC 8.65 SCFH Pass 2-203-2C On March 14, 1975, MSIV 2-203-2A was determined to have leakage in excess of the Technical Specification limit of 11.5 SCFH. A0 50-265/75-9 will describe the details necessary to correct MSIV 2-203-2A. This report will be submltted at a later date when the work is completed.
