The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.B.1.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.

and valves Au z-16u1-z3 and Au 2-1601-56 took 17.2 seconds and 14.1 seconds tn close respectively. This was in violation of closing tirre requirernents (< 10 _

seconds) in Table 3.7.1 of Technical Specifications.

The solenoid was replaced for valve A0 2-1601-63 and the valve was closed successfully in 4.2 seconds. The air bleed-off s were readjusted on valves A0 2-1601-23 and A0 2-1601-56. The valves were then retim?d at 7 seconds .1nd 6.8 seconds respectively. All repairs and retesting were completed on the same day as that of the occurrence.

This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Feierabend of your office on March 26, 1975 Further information will be provided by Abnormal Occurrence l Report A0 50-265/75-10 which will be subrei tted within 10 days of the date of this occur r en ce .
