Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.B.l.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.
At 5:00 PM on April 17, 1975, during a hydrostatic test of Unit 2 reactor vessel instrument line flow check valves 2-220-203 and 2-220-678 failed to operate properly; and valve 2-263-2-31H leaked excessively.
A work request (1274-75) has been issued to repair the valves.
