I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment in writing on the site visit to Comanche Peak on May 3 which you, as well as I and all parties in the operating licensing hearings for. the plant, attended.
My only comnient is that you should be aware not only of what you saw on the tour, but what you did not see.
For the most part, areas and items under litigation in the hearings (e.g., pipe supports) were not on the agenda.
In addition, the diesel generators (which you did see) were not on the utility's tour agenda, but were viewed only af ter you requested to see them.
I would hope that you would take this, observation into consideration as you and the other Commissioners make. any decisions on Comanche Peak based either in whole or in part on your assessment of this site visit.
I would appreciate your of fice supplying a copy of these comments to whoever should receive one.
