Dear Dr. Morris:

it In accordance with discussions held with members of your staff, was agreed to perform additional sonic tests on Turkey Point Unit No. 3 containment mat in order to evaluate the repairs which were made on this mat.

These repairs were the subject of a transmittal to you dated August 14, 1968, and a supplemental transmittal dated November 1, 1968.

The repairs were appro'ved by you in your letter to us dated November 19, 1968.

Enclosed are 25 copies of a report entitled "Soniscope Investigation of the Tuekey Point Plant Un.it No. 3 Containment Mat".
