Jp The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.B.I.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.
On July 22, 1974, upon recalculation of liquid radioactive waste discharges for the monthly discharge summary, it was discovered that the 1 x 10-7 uCi/ml limit.in the discharge bay was violated on three occasions:
6/21/74 1.38 x 10-7 uti/ml (including background)
~7 6/21/74 1.28 x 10 uti/ml (including background)
~
6/23/74 1.19 x 10 uCi/ml (including background)
The present discharge procedure is being reviewed to eliminate future occurrences.
This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Feierabend of your office on July 23,1974. Further information will be provide d by Abnormal O ccurrence Report A0 50-265/74-18 which will be submitted within 10 days of the date of this occurrence.
